Didn't dislike anything about the property.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming retreat nestled in the Sierra Nevada. The location was perfect for hiking and exploring Granada. The cortijo was well-equipped and clean, with amazing views. Our host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Although it was a bit chilly at first, the heating eventually kicked in. We enjoyed the peacefulness and would have loved to stay longer. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

We had a wonderful stay at Cortijo Balzain in a lovely, rustic cottage. the interior was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of natural light and ventilation. the peaceful location allowed us to relax and enjoy the clean swimming pool, surrounded by whispering trees. the staff were very pleasant and the homemade meals in the on-site restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced. the location was perfect for exploring Granada, as it was just a short drive away from attractions like the Alhambra.

We spent Christmas at this cozy countryside retreat and loved the rustic charm it offered. The cottage we stayed in had beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and the beds were very comfortable. the location was perfect for us, as it was only a short drive away from Granada and there was a supermarket nearby in the quaint town. We also appreciated the fact that the property allowed dogs, as we were able to bring our furry friend along for the holiday.

While we enjoyed our stay overall, there were a few drawbacks. the cottage was not well-insulated, and it took some time for the heating to warm up the space, making the first evening a bit chilly.

We got great value for our money at Cortijo Balzain. The room was cosy and beautifully restored with lovely old features, and the location was perfect for peaceful nature walks. The staff treated us wonderfully, from their quick responses to our queries to their generous offer of a late check-out.

As women travelling alone, we loved the peaceful location nestled in an almond tree orchard with stunning views over Granada and the Sierra Nevada. The apartment had a small terrace for enjoying breakfast in the sunshine and dinner at sunset, and the kitchen was well-equipped for self-catering. The spacious living room provided a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The owners were friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant and safe environment.

We loved the abundance of natural light and the cozy sofas for relaxing. the swimming pool was a refreshing delight, surrounded by peaceful trees. the views from the terrace over Granada and the surrounding area were breathtaking. It was an ideal location, close to Granada yet incredibly peaceful. the hosts were responsive and accommodating, allowing us a late check-out. We didn't want to leave!
